Empowering a Healthy Community

SERVING SOUTH LAKE COUNTY, FLORIDA

OUR MISSION

Nourishing Hearts and Uplifting Spirits

Enriching neighbors’ lives and enhancing dignity by providing food security and abundant resources.

OUR PURPOSE

We are a Heartbeat of Hope- Because No One Should Go Hungry

Our clients live at 200% or below the national poverty income level, which means, that for a family of 4, they earn up to $60,000 per year.

We are a designated Healthy Food Pantry, and more than 80% of the groceries we distribute are healthy, minimally or unprocessed foods.

We are one of the few pantries that provide School Break Meals, ensuring every child has enough food to sustain them during school closings- one week or more.

We provide education and connections to multiple social service agencies and organizations.

Why we stand out

The Neighborhood Center of South Lake is more than a food pantry; we are one of the few designated Healthy Food Pantries; we are a Family Stability Center; we work holistically with clients and partners to help families change their future.
